To aid in parking and manoeuvring, we can install parking sensors into the bumpers at the front and rear of the car to warn the driver of any obstacles. Warnings are given by means of small displays, mounted to the centre of the dash for the front sensors and to the headlining at the back of the car for the rear sensors, which also emit an audible tone.
The front display is mounted to the rear of the speaker grille in the centre of the dash and the rear display is mounted centrally on the rear headlining where it can be seen in the rear view mirror.
4 sensors are fitted to both the front and rear of the car. All sensors are colour matched to the exact colour of your car. Front sensors are mounted using the existing provisions in the centre grille for the inner sensors. The outer sensors are colour matched and drilled into the bumper on vehicles with AMG bodystyling. On vehicles without AMG bodystyling small replacement panels are used in the outer grilles to use original Mercedes positions (Extra cost of £30)
