To aid in parking and manoeuvring, we can retrofit the Mercedes factory parking system – Park Assist – into your car. The entire installation is completed to the highest standard and when finished will be identical to the factory specification.
Six ultrasonic sensors in the front bumper and six in the rear bumper monitor the surrounding area. These sensors detect the distance from other vehicles or obstacles during parking. Should the distance become too small, acoustic and visual signals warn the driver by means of loudspeakers and displays. It can also be used to park the car for you
The front and rear displays are integrated into the instrument cluster. A new switch is added to the lower control panel to allow the driver to enable/disable the system. The system will assist in parallel parking as well as bay parking forwards or backwards.
Using genuine Mercedes parts, the entire installation is completed to the highest standard and when finished will be identical to the factory specification.
The quoted price includes installation, all parts required and programming with Mercedes Star Diagnostics.
Whilst we are working on your car, you can make use of our customer lounge which includes WiFi, a spacious desk and comfy sofa. We also provide tea, coffee and cold drinks.
Alternatively, we have a courtesy car available if booked in advance (Please note the courtesy car has a manual gearbox).
