To aid in parking and manoeuvring, we can retrofit the Mercedes factory parking system – Parktronic – into your car. The entire installation is completed to the highest standard and when finished will be identical to the factory specification.
Six ultrasonic sensors in the front bumper and four in the rear bumper monitor the surrounding area. These sensors detect the distance from other vehicles or obstacles during parking. Should the distance become too small, acoustic and visual signals warn the driver by means of loudspeakers and LEDs.
The front display is integrated into the dashboard. The rear display is mounted on the rear deck so that it is visible in the rear view mirror.
A new switch is added to the lower control panel to allow the driver to disable the system. This is especially useful if the sensors are covered by snow.
Using genuine Mercedes parts, the entire installation is completed to the highest standard and when finished will be identical to the factory specification.
The quoted price includes installation, all parts required and programming with Mercedes Star Diagnostics.
Whilst we are working on your car, you can make use of our customer lounge which includes WiFi, a spacious desk and comfy sofa. We also provide tea, coffee and cold drinks.
Alternatively, we have a courtesy car available if booked in advance (Please note the courtesy car has a manual gearbox).
