We use a Thinkware Witness Camera System U1000Plus as it is a very neat camera that sits flat against the front windscreen with an adjustable angled lens. Cable entry is side mounted so a little more visible than some other models but we will keep this to an absolute minimum. The optional rear camera is a small tube shaped module that attaches to the top centre of the rear window and records images from behind you. We keep all cables hidden within existing rubber tubes through the boot hinge when required. Also we only connect to circuits within the car that are known to not interfere with the complex electronics of your car.
Information and settings can be retrieved with a Smartphone app (IOS and Android). Alternatively they can be downloaded to PC or MAC. We will set up this for you as part of our installation if required.

Continuous Recording Mode.
This mode is activated automatically when you start the car. Recorded videos are saved in one-minute segments with an auto-looping mechanism.
Event Recording Mode
Active Impact Monitoring System will automatically store the video data ten seconds prior to and after a collision registered by the 3-axis G-Sensor.
Manual Recording Mode
Similar to a video camera, you can use the Manual Recording Mode to capture events that occur in front of your vehicle whether or not it is in motion.
Parking Mode.
This can be set to either ‘Time Lapse’ recording or, Energy Saving Impact Recording.
