Mercedes Detachable Towbar and 13pin Electrics for V Class/Vito 447 (2015 on)

We can retrofit a Genuine Mercedes Detachable Towbar and 13pin Electrics for V Class/Vito 447. This is discreetly mounted within the rear bumper itself and when removed is virtually invisible. The detachable part is then stored in the side locker inside the vehicle. A 13 pin electrics connection is mounted on a fixed bracket to allow simple connection. Electrics are fully compliant with the complex circuitry of the car as we use an electrics kit specifically made by Mercedes for this vehicle.

We currently have three available options but these do change with stock so please check before ordering.

1. We can install a genuine Mercedes OEM Towbar and electrics but this is a fixed bar and is not detachable.
2. We can install a genuine Mercedes Detachble OEM towbar (made by Westfalia) and electrics. Mercedes have limited stock and have increased their prices disproportionately!
3. We can install a Brink Detachable Towbar using genuine OEM electrics (recommended)

All systems use the genuine Mercedes electrics which will integrate fully with the electrics and the head unit of the car, If the car has MBUX (Touchscreen) then we will introduce new menus to set speed limits etc relevant to what you are towing. All head units will get extra reverse camera angles with guidance lines to assist trailer coupling.

Brink manufacture a very good quality towbar that is similar in all ways to the Westfalia and provides an extremely viable alternative without compromise.

Full 13 pin connectivity allows for use with caravans as well as trailers and bike racks. (older style 7 pin adapters are also available)

The quoted price includes VAT, installation, all parts required and programming with Mercedes Star Diagnostics.

Using genuine Mercedes parts, the entire installation is completed to the highest standard and when finished will be identical to the factory specification.
