Repair of NTG3.5 Comand from S class 221 (2010-2014)

We are usually able to repair Comand NTG3.5 from S class where the unit has failed.

Symptoms:

  • Completely dead – No communication with diagnostics
  • Units starts up with MB Logo but goes no further – No communication with diagnostics
  • Unit operates completely randomly – No reliable communication with diagnostics

 

Remedy: We will require your Comand unit for approx 10-14 days whilst it’s internals are re-worked. This will completely erase all personal information. We will then require your vehicle for 4-5 hours to restore all previous functions and update/reload all of it’s software/mapping information.

Result: Your Comand system, in its entirety, will be updated (DAB, Amp, Media Interface & TV if installed) with the latest software/firmware from Mercedes. Newer maps will also be loaded.

Comand units can be shipped to us for repair (please pack very carefully)

Re-installation can only be carried out at our workshop.

Repairs are warrantied for one year (repaired parts only – not entire unit)

Units for repair can either be mailed directly to us or vehicles can be brought to our workshop for removal.

We can ship the repaired unit back by courier or install for you at our workshop.
