Replacement of Failed Mercedes MBUX Unit

Mercedes cars are generally very reliable but on occasion the head unit can fail. The symptoms vary but usually the outcome is that the unit appears completely dead. This is also confirmed in the instrument cluster when selecting Audio, Media or Nav it shows just a series of dashes. This is basically confirming that the head unit is not communicating with the car. When this occurs we are no longer able to communicate with the head unit using our diagnostics so the unit itself is irreparable. Other faults that require replacement include failed download where just an arrow remains on the screen and will not complete its update.

We can replace this with a refurbished unit that will be installed, security coded, loaded with the latest firmware and also loaded with the latest maps available too. Maps are loaded directly onto the hard drive of the MBUX unit.

Our warranty will cover this unit for two years for complete peace of mind.
