We can retrofit the original Mercedes Cruise Control System. It works electronically to help regulate your car’s speed. And it offers you more comfort on long journeys by keeping a constant speed. It is particularly effective when you have to stay within speed limits for a long way. When driving through miles of roadworks on the motorway, for example. This will cut the risk of your speed creeping up inadvertently. The system works by memorising and maintaining the speed you select. You can increase or reduce speed manually. You also have the option of returning to the speed most recently memorised. Pressing a button, using the brake or clutch pedals will turn off the Mercedes Benz Cruise Control
Speed limiter can also be used to prevent the vehicle from exceeding a pre-determined speed. Once set the car will behave completely normally until the set speed is reached where it will hold constant. More throttle will simply have no effect unless ‘kickdown’ is activated which will over-ride the system.
For safety reasons, the cruise control system should not be used in heavy traffic or in difficult road conditions, such as heavy rain or ice.
Using genuine Mercedes parts, the entire installation is completed to the highest standard and when finished will be identical to the factory specification.
