We are able to replace Comand NTG1 from E class where the unit has failed.
Symptoms:
- Completely dead. Diagnostics communicate with AGW but not Comand.
- Drain of battery causing bad starting of engine.
- Intermittent operation. Unit cuts in and out.
Remedy: We will replace your Comand with one of our refurbished units. Each of our units has been fully tested and reworked to ensure full functionality.
Result: Once re-installed no further programming is required
Comand units can be shipped to us for replacement (please pack very carefully). We will ship back to you by return. Alternatively we can ship to you prior to receiving your unit but a surcharge of £200 will be levied if we have not received your unit back within two weeks.
We are happy to remove and refit the Comand unit from/to your car at no extra cost. This however must be carried out at our workshop.
Service Exchange units are warrantied for one year
PLEASE NOTE:
Many faults occur on this car that display on the Comand as simply a Mercedes logo that appears for approx 10 seconds when switching on. In this instance we would prefer to run a diagnostic check to ascertain faults. Very often the Comand is suspected as faulty but other parts have failed. Please call for more details.
Units for repair can either be mailed directly to us or vehicles can be brought to our workshop for removal.
We can ship the repaired unit back by courier or install for you at our workshop.
