This retrofit enables you to fold the door mirrors with the press of a button to allow you to manoeuvre into a tight space and to reduce the risk of damage by passing traffic if parked kerbside.
The mirrors can also be set to fold whenever the car is locked. This is also an easy way to ‘check’ if the car is locked as they will only fold if all doors and boot are closed properly.
We retrofit folding mirrors to operate in an identical fashion to factory fitted. Adding a button on the mirror switch to manually fold and introducing new menus into the instrument cluster or radio system to allow you to set ‘Fold mirrors on locking’. We use all genuine MB parts and update the on-line vehicle datacard that shows the specification of the car to anybody looking.
