Where to start? My c320 got the infamous clacking noise from the ventilation system that does happen to the C and E class . This particular problem , you would think would not be such a thing to resolve.WRONG. To keep this short , Neil and Baz went to the most extraordinary lengths to rectify the situation, and this they did. Virtually everything in front of the front seats had to be removed to do this but they persevered and all I’m now saying is I’m one HAPPY bunny. Braybrookes have in fact worked on my cars before adding extras and so forth , but this nasty nasty problem, they went over and above.and I’m so grateful as this car I’ve had for 23 years and is a beauty.very best regards David Crawford

I didn’t really know just how you much you lose when the infotainment system goes down. Booked into Mercedes dealership to diagnose the issue. Needed either an update or a new Audio 20 unit at a cost of approx £1200. They apparently tried to update the system 3 times unsuccessfully. So, rather than pay £1200 for a new unit I went away to consider what I should do. I found Braybrook on the internet and had total confidence in their ability from our first telephone discussion. Neil was able to successfully update the system at a charge of £180. So, whilst I was there I got them to add Apple Car Play at a very reasonable cost. Brilliant, thank you guys. Great service. SJ

I have just visited Braybrooks to have two options fitted to my Mercedes GLC 250 4-matic (urban edition 2018). The car lacked electric folding side mirrors and rear distance sensors. Why Mercedes decided that these two functions were not necessary on this model I have no idea. I would have though they were essential for safety and convenience and even my previous vehicle, a Nissan Qashqai from 2008, had them. Neil and his colleague fitted both in a day. These guys clearly have extensive experience with Mercedes vehicles. The folding side mirrors, a Mercedes retrofit kit, were integrated into the vehicle software, so they can be set to operate automatically in the ‘vehicle settings’ menu. The rear sensors have a visual display inside the car as well as an audible warning. I was really impressed with their expertise and their labour costs were very reasonable. The main cost was (surprise!) the side mirror kit from Mercedes. I would highly recommend Braybrooks for work of this kind, especially on Mercedes vehicles. Also Neil, thank you for your excellent coffee machine and drinks cooler in the customer lounge.

I came across Braybrooks when looking for a fully automatic towbar for my new GLC. I contacted Neil and discussed the requirements, paid a deposit and booked a date.. I was a little apprehensive completing this work outside the dealer network on a brand new car; however, I shouldn’t have worried and cannot be more pleased.. the work was completed within one working day and I now have a factory spec electric towbar.. Braybrooks are really easy to deal with and the workmanship is excellent.. I cannot recommend them enough and will definitely use them again..

I contacted Braybrooks after previous positive experience in instaling bluetooth in an old E Class and a new Android Auto screen in my V Class. The DRL strips in my V Class headlights were not working any longer (one was out and the other one very dim) and it had been suggested by the garage that the entire light needed changing. I was not convinced as one of them was intermittend. Neil checked the lights through thoroughly and diagnised a failed control unit. He promptly ordered a replacement and fitted it - faults cleared and everything working fine again. Whilst it was not cheap, it was a lot less than changing headlights and importantly it was the correct repair. Neil kept me informed throughout; very impressed with their knowledge and expertise.

The replacement for my heated seat base in my R171 SLK350 with a genuine Mercedes part was too expensive to make sense. Braybrooks’ website quoted a much more reasonable price for replacement with a non-genuine part. Neil was very honest about the potential downside but, having had the job done, I couldn’t be happier. It’s early days, so I can’t speak to longevity, but the warm up time difference is barely noticeable and the heating achieved is indistinguishable from the genuine part. Braybrooks carry out a very professional job while you wait and I have no hesitation in recommending them.

My 2012 E-Class has been dragged kicking and screaming into the present day by the addition of an Android Tablet. This gives the car a whole new lease of life. The work was carried out expertly by Braybrooks who did an excellent job of the supplying and fitting. The Android tablet option is a great way of getting Car Play into an older vehicle.

I chose Braybrooks to have tow-bar, turbo vents and dash-cam fitted to my GLC. I was greeted with friendly welcome on arrival and was impressed by the small, but professional set up of the workshop; there was no doubt that I had brought my car to the right place to have the work carried undertaken. All the work was carried out on the day and all the features of what I had fitted explained to me before I left. I will definitely be looking to use them for further work in the future and cannot recommend them enough!

The team at Braybrroks upgraded the communication module on my W213 E classs Mercedes to a 4G LTE version. I now have faster downloads, Live-traffic and online searches. Most importantly, my Comand online infotainment system will continue to work after the 3G switch off by Vodafone. I drove all the way from Bristol as I was told Braybrooks were the best Mercedes retro fit specialists in the country and they did not disappoint. They fitted folding mirrors and front and rear parking sensors to my wife's Mercedes A Class. The work was carried out to an exceptionally high standard as I spent the day working in their guest lounge with complimentary coffee, soft drinks and wifi. My wife was absolutely delighted with the work and you would think both the folding mirrors and parking sensors were factory fitted. I cannot recommend Braybrooks high enough, excellent job carried out by experts and worth every penny.

I wanted to get a 64 colour ambient lighting kit with ambient airvents fitted to my C Class Coupe and found Braybrooks online, read reviews and booked my car in for installation at their workshop in Tewin. The guys did an excellent job on my car and the job was very professional, barely took 3 hours and I was happy to hang around in their customer lounge. The ambient kit is stunning and looks as if it came from factory. Will recommend Braybrooks to anyone 👍👍

Having recently bought a 2015 Mercedes CLS, I wanted to upgrade the info system to Car Play. With a myriad of advice on the web and you tube, I finally found Neil and was delighted Braybrooks were a 5 minute drive from my home. His advice was an option I'd not seen and retained all the OEM equipment, just a software upgrade which was executed without fuss; they even had a courtesy car at no extra charge. A first class service I'd recommend with confidence.

I had car play fitted previously by another company in Newcastle, but ended up removing it from the car, as I had loads of problems. When I found Braybrooks and it dealt with Mercedes cars, I rang Neil and he give me the option of CarPlay or a new android screen he spoke in depth about the options and I decided to get the new android screen with car play built in, I traveled down from Newcastle to have the system fitted, the place is spotless and professionally ran and Neil and Baz were great, the full fit was done within 2hours, including a full explanation of how it all works. On travelling back to Newcastle I tried everything out and it was great. It was well worth the travel and I couldn’t recommend Neil and Baz enough. Thanks again

I had almost written off my Mercedes radio/cd/GPS system and infotainment screen, it having failed completely, but Neil insisted that there was a 95% chance that he could mend it. Mercedes wanted a huge amount of money to replace the unit, so I had nothing to lose. True to his word, just two hours in the workshop saw me driving away with a fully functioning unit once more. I was recommended Braybrooks by a friend and I am very glad he did. I had wanted CarPlay for ages, but was told repeatedly it was not possible. Braybrooks could not have done a better job. Really pleased I choose Braybrooks for the work on my S500e. Neil and Baz installed Apple Car Play/Android Auto, Mercedes front and rear dash cam and powered boot open/close. I had Apple CarPlay fitted to my 2018 C Class Mercedes. It took less than an hour to fit! And works perfectly! Neil took me through the system with patience, in a clear and precise way. Just a fantastic team, I called one day for info and 4 days later I was there. Everything was explained properly over the phone no surprises. Neil is just a gentleman heard what I suggest about the parts I took with me and gave me his opinion. They replaced and wired centre console in "seconds" if I can say like that. And when I went to take the car back all old parts where tidy in the boot. Very kind team and professional 5 stars. For sure a place to visit for the next upgrades :)

I contacted Neil with regards to updating my C class, Mercedes coupe W.205 With Apple CarPlay, Neil got straight back to me with several options, including links to the relevant pages on the Braybrook’s website. After asking numerous questions, all of which were answered with a clear and concise information, I chose to opt for a full screen tablet android solution replacing my cars original OEM screen. Neil was incredibly accommodating managed to squeeze me into the workshop within a few days. The work was completed in little over an hour and the cars infotainment system suddenly looked and felt bang up-to-date. Neil spent plenty of time, explaining the options and showed me how the system worked and made sure I knew what I was doing. Despite the flexibility, customisation and many options of the system it was actually very straightforward and logical to use. I’m delighted with my purchase and the service I received., I absolutely will be returning for further audio upgrades as soon as the budget allows. I would fully recommend Neil and team to anyone looking to have experts work on their Mercedes.

Superb service from Neil fitting wireless Apple CarPlay to my c200 He explained the procedure beforehand when I first enquired, and managed to find a slot convenient for myself to drive to his workshop at short notice to install the unit in less than 45 minutes. He then took the time to explain the functions and answer some of my questions. Professional 5* service Can't recommend the company high enough and will certainly return for future upgrades.

I recently had my radio , sat nav and CD device refitted by Neil and the team at Braybrook . Although quite tricky to find the workshop had a space for me to work with free Wi-Fi and endless coffee . Recently had the screen in my V Class upgraded from 8.4in to 10.5in - my main objective was to get Android Auto for my V Class as maps were not getting updated anymore (unless I paid lots of £s to MB). After speaking to Neil I became aware of (and ultimately decided to) upgrading the screen rather than just adding the box. This effectively brings my V Class up-to-date visually inside. The work was carried out to high standard and it looks really well. Neil took the time to explain the operation of the system to me and sent the manual. I am really pleased with the work - the screen looks excellent, it links up to the phone seamlessly and integrates well into the car. Certainly a worthwhile upgrade and done by the experts.

I have used Braybrooks before for a Heads Up Display. Once again Neil was professional and efficient in fitting the dash cams, he clearly is an expert. The install is neat and tidy and he took the time to talk me through the workings etc. A top Professional job at a good price. Will be using them again shortly to fit a Dashcam to another vehicle. Brilliant service of Braybrooks. Before going ahead, i inquired about installing android auto to my car where they answered all my questions whilst letting me go at my own pace. I decided to book an appointment with them and in person, they showed me android auto/apple carplay screen to let me have a play around and see what it was like before going ahead. After this i decided i wanted to go ahead. The actual android auto box installation took around an hour and i was pleased with the results! 5 star service.

Neil is extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I explained what i was after for my wife’s Mini and he gave me options to choose from which made my choice of unit much easier. His communication is excellent as are his speedy response times, noting how busy he is. The workshop is very nice and he has taken time to ensure customers have the ability to work in a separate office with wifi, a really thoughtful touch. Overall if you are considering an audio install of any kind i highly recommended Braybrooks.
