Product Introduction
More and more Mercedes benz new cars come with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto function. Whilst the high version cars will have this function activated, the lower version will be hidden. We now have this Mercedes Apple CarPlay OBD Activator which simply plugs into the OBD socket. This will activate the built in CarPlay & Android Auto function in some new Mercedes cars. It is plug and play and very easy to use.
On some models Mercedes have now developed software to dis-allow the activation of CarPlay software. So please check Compatibility tab for more details and check our Head-unit Version Fact Sheet to see if Mercedes Apple CarPlay OBD Activator will work for you.

Determining compatibility of this device is very difficult because software levels can be changed at dealers without customer knowledge. Because of this we offer a refund (with handling charge) in the event that this device fails to activate. Simply return the device in its original packaging and we will refund upon receipt with a handling fee of £25. This is to cover the cost of reprogramming each device as they 'lock' to your car upon initial insertion.

Steve H –
Had Retrofitted Apple Carplay to my Mercedes C220d Coupe by Neil & staff.
Done an excellent job.
Great service, would recommend Braybrooks
Nigel Rata (verified owner) –
Great product – great pre-sales advice and then orders and arrived next day. I followed the very simple instructions and within 2 mins I had carplay working in my 2017 SLC. I am very happy. Thank you!
Michael Gregory (verified owner) –
This worked perfectly on my 2017 SLC 43 AMG, US model. Of note, my data card showed Audio 20 (code 522), but did not list the smartphone integration package. Though it did have the 2 USB ports in the center console, one of which had a tablet/smartphone icon beside it. After using the OBD activator, I now have both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, without the need of any additional hardware! I couldn’t be happier.
Robert Oxborough –
Does this work with the a class 206 audio 20
Neil Braybrook –
If you can give me the VIN (or reg no) of the car I can check for you. Please send to info@braybrooks.co.uk
Elliott P –
Works perfectly and as described – even on an older model than it should (’15 Model A-Class Motorsport). Bought yesterday, arrived today. Thanks folks 🙂
