We install the Thinkware F790 Witness Camera System, a discreet and reliable solution for Mercedes owners looking to enhance on-road security. Its compact design sits flush against the front windscreen with an adjustable-angle lens, offering a clean and professional finish that complements your vehicle’s interior.

Unlike many aftermarket cameras, the F790 hides all cabling via concealed entry points – eliminating messy plugs or hanging wires. The optional rear camera is a slim, tube-style unit that mounts neatly at the top-centre of the rear window, with all wiring routed cleanly through factory rubber grommets for a seamless look. Importantly, we only connect to circuits that are known to be compatible with your Mercedes E 211, avoiding any interference with its complex electronics.

Information and settings can be accessed via the Thinkware smartphone app (iOS and Android) or downloaded to a PC or Mac. As part of the service, we’ll help set this up for you during installation if required.

  • Manual Recording Mode: Similar to a video camera, you can use the Manual Recording Mode to capture events that occur in front of your vehicle whether or not it is in motion.
  • Parking Mode: This can be set to either ‘Time Lapse’ recording or, Energy Saving Impact Recording.

Whilst we are working on your car, you can make use of our customer lounge which includes WiFi, a spacious desk and comfy sofa. We also provide tea, coffee and cold drinks.

Alternatively, we have a courtesy car available if booked in advance (Please note the courtesy car has a manual gearbox).
