Create a warm glow within the cockpit of your car with Ambient Lighting for Mercedes A Class 177
The standard kit will add the required parts to illuminate the bottom edge of the entire centre console. And also add light tubes into the door handles and the underside of the grab handles to flood light into the pockets. We will illuminate the footwells above your feet too. We then add parts to the left and right of the main dash to carry the theme across the dash of the car. If your car supports it we will carry the top stripe of the dash lighting into the top of the door. (See Compatibility Tab)
We use all after-market parts that look and perform perfectly. We can supply the kit for self-installations but this is a considerable task. Full instruction are included but it is a very involved job and requires coding and plastic bonding.
The settings in the radio system will get extra menus to control the system in the same way as factory fitted. The standard system offers 64 colours adjustable within the MBUX touchscreen or central controller. Also, we include the ability to have two different colours on the upper and lower strips of the dash that enhances the visual impression. (Multi-Colour/Multi-Colour Animation)
Ambient Lighting for Mercedes A Class will illuminate the following:
- Front door strips on top edge (Check ‘Compatibility’ Tab as not all doors can have this)
- All interior door handles
- All door pockets
- Front Footwells
- Top & bottom edge of dash trim to left of dash
- Top & bottom edge of small dash trim to right of dash
- Underside edge of centre console
- All front face vents (Optional)
- Rear Vents (Optional)
The optional turbo vents will introduce the latest style of vents with illumination within that matches the rest of the ambient light system.
The quoted price includes VAT, installation, all parts required and programming with Mercedes Star Diagnostics.
Compatibility
The parts to illuminate the top stripe of the door will only fit certain door panels. The lights throughout the rest of the system will all fit on any car listed.
Vehicles covered are:
A class 177 – 2019 on
The left picture is AMG line. This has a red stripe across the dash that is replaced by a clear stripe that becomes the illuminated part. This model has a solid door trim so there is no top stripe.
The right picture is executive models (and others) that has a small (dash matching) trim at the top of the door. This has a thin black stripe that is replaced by a clear stripe that becomes the illuminated part.
All models have 64 colours controlled by menus that are introduced into the radio settings.
Whilst we are working on your car, you can make use of our customer lounge which includes WiFi, a spacious desk and comfy sofa. We also provide tea, coffee and cold drinks.
Alternatively, we have a courtesy car available if booked in advance (Please note the courtesy car has a manual gearbox).
Approximate Installation Time: 6 - 8 hours. Car is required overnight.
