We can retrofit Genuine Mercedes DAB Radio which offers a far larger, more varied selection of stations. Additionally, this significantly improves the audio quality.
The retrofit includes genuine Mercedes DAB control modules and aerial amplifiers. All cars have at least one aerial already. To use this we replace the aerial amplifier with a DAB compatible version. However, this system requires two aerials to operate with diversity. Diversity enables the tuner to choose the best signal available and keep lists updated. To retrofit the second aerial there are different options available.
Genuine Mercedes Parts
Mercedes aerials are built into the glass of the car. Therefore, to keep the retrofit completely as-per-factory, we replace the required glass.
Aftermarket Aerial
As a more cost effective alternative, we can install a discreet aftermarket aerial in the top left corner of the front windscreen.
Once installed, the list of stations becomes populated by both FM and DAB simultaneously.

Using genuine Mercedes parts, the entire installation is completed to the highest standard and when finished will be identical to the factory specification.
The quoted price includes VAT, installation, all parts required and programming with Mercedes Star Diagnostics.
